Arizona Gives Day is Tuesday April 4

And Friends of Rio Vista is participating!

We know how much you care about protecting and enhancing the natural assets of Rio Vista Natural Resource Park. Since 2019, Friends of Rio Vista has brought stakeholders like you together to achieve that goal through the Rio Vista Conservation Project, our collaboration with Tucson Parks and Recreation. We worked with you and Tucson Parks to make the Rio Vista master plan a milestone in conservation for the park. We continue to restore ecological communities and processes through the Paths to Habitat project — closing rogue trails, planting new vegetation, and taking other action on the ground.

Arizona Gives Day is an annual event that gives donors an opportunity to support Arizona nonprofit organizations. Although the event itself takes place on April 4 this year, early giving began on March 14.

Please show your commitment to the future wildness of Rio Vista by donating to Friends of Rio Vista. At any time between now and April 4, you can visit the Arizona Gives website to make your gift. Charges will appear on your bank or credit card statement as “Arizona Gives.”

Thank you so much for your sustained encouragement and support. We’re all together for the park.
