Friends of Rio Vista is powered by volunteers.
We have no paid staff—volunteer and pro bono personnel conduct all the work of the organization. These individuals donate their time and expertise to bring the park’s human and wild communities together through conservation planning, ecological restoration, advocacy, and outreach. All our work is coordinated with the City of Tucson Parks and Recreation Department.
We welcome volunteer and pro bono contributions in the following roles:
- Board member
- Conservation advisor
- Organizational advisor
- Program manager
- Website manager
- Project lead
- Program volunteer
- Other volunteer roles
If you’d like to explore the possibility of playing one of these critical roles
please e-mail Friends of Rio Vista at info@friendsofriovista.org
with “Volunteer opportunities” in the subject line.
